We are pretty much all familiar with the idea of DNA fingerprint. TV police shows like CSI regularly use them in the shows. Now they are starting to be used to create exciting new art works.

Customers DNA samples are used to create a DNA fingerprint and the image is then used by their artists to create original and unique oil paintings in the customer’s choice of colours. The service offers customers a contemporary personal DNA artwork that matches the decor.
As the fruit of the collaboration between scientific and artistic worlds, this approach uses the most advanced genetic techniques and inspired creativity to paint the most personalized portraits. This sort of personalised art can be done for individuals, couples or even an entire family making an image of differences and similarities in the genetic profile of the subjects. The process is simple and takes about eight weeks in total. After ordering a DNA sample kit is sent to the customer. Is there a genetic DNA test to find out what specific region of the world I come from?
I am a 42 year old American woman and am doing some geneology research. I’m have been able to research all the way back to my eight great grandparents and all were born in the U.S. I have found a few of my great great grandparents and once again they too were born in the U.S. I would love to see what specific region of the world these relatives originiate from. I know there are DNA kits out there but can they give you specific results with what area of the world you are from?
